29 years old.
1-2 drinks for weeknights, usually when I watch hockey, baseball, football. Otherwise there is no drinking during the week
Weekends are sort of open season and depends on my plans. Sometimes there can be quite a few, sometimes its just a couple, and sometimes it's not at all.
Honestly, I'm trying to plan more morning activities on the weekend now, it helps me make sure I don't go crazy the night before - it always just seems like such a wasted day if I lie in front of the TV feeling bad.

30 - I drink like I'm still in college. Probably 3 or 4 a night during the week and go hard just about every weekend. Plus most Sundays are fundays during football season.
I got lit at the game last night too.
I might have a problem.

I drank like I was in college from 18-30.
Then I decided to quit. Haven't touched a drop in 2 years. It also helped me quit smoking, that's been just over a year.
I could have just really cut back but:

24, drink a couple times per month. Used to drink a lot more during university years but then I stopped after a few rough experiences haha. Once those hangovers were engraved in my memory, my drinking slowed down a lot.
I stopped drinking beer all together as well and feeling much better. Spiced rum all the way now!

I'm 24, and drink at least a 24 pack per week. But its all Friday and Saturday lol. I rarely have a drink during the week unless on vacation (we go to Mexico once a year and camp most weekends of the summer + take 2-3 weeks off in August) I would say I drink a lot
I'm curious what kind of shape you guys who drink frequently are in. I'm in what I consider great shape and with my job/active life I don't expect that to change, but I can honestly say if I started to gain a few pounds I wouldn't give up drinking. I would do what I could to keep in my best shape but cutting out my beer and ciders wouldnt happen

Depends, on the busy weeks (Flames games, parties, etc.) then probably ~8 drinks/night over 3-4 nights.
Typical weeks, I will have about 4 whiskeys and a few glasses of wine for the whole week.

This is something that I've been thinking a lot about lately as a few family members have recently entered rehab and have acknowledged they are alcoholics. I never drink Sunday to Wednesday but Thursday, Friday, Saturday are a bit of a crap shoot. A few years ago I would drink 8-10 drinks 2 of the those 3 nights but these days I'd say I drink 8-10 drinks 1 of those three nights. Another issue is things like bachelor parties and guy trips. Those weekends I end up drinking heavily for 2 and sometimes 3 nights in a row. After that I'm not right for a week.
I don't think I have problem but need to cut back on the binging when I do drink.

Youre 24. It might start to happen soon or not until your 30s but eventually it catches up to you.

52 revolutions around the sun. Haven't binge drank in years. Can't handle the hangovers. I do however drink 2 or 3 glasses of red wine a day, probably half a bottle of wine.

from the age 19-30 i binge drank (5-10 drinks) 1-2 nights a week (fri or sat nites). was a bit of a party animal on the weekends, without suffering hangovers.
once i got married, and the going out stopped, within the year i lost a lot of my tolerance. I enjoy having some drinks on the weekend, but if i had more than 3-4 hard liquor drinks in an evening, i'd get fairly buzzed. Trying to do the odd boys night (after getting married was extremely rare (<1 a quarter), none existent since having the kids) where it went to 7+ drinks and i wouldn't make it through the evening.
Resulted in my moving to beer/wine. I'll only really drink on fri/sat night, and it's usually a few pints (~3). during playoff season or a big game on mid week i may have 1-2 beers, or if there's the odd after work get together. I'd guess i'm basically averaging ~8 pints of beer a week.

I usually have a drink a day. 2-3 on Friday, and 2-3 on Saturday.
I switched to whiskey from beer and I have lost about 7-8 pounds.
2oz of whiskey a night. I still have a beer or two on the weekends. It is too glorious.

29. Don't really drink during the week, but the odd time I'm watching hockey or playing a video game I'll have 1-3 drinks.
Get into it with the boys probably once a month or so. Then it's usually 10+ drinks. I'm also at my heaviest I've ever been so I can actually drink A LOT (humble brag).

No one does. No one plans on turning into a lazy slob.
Although I personally still can't gain weight at all.

Welcome to the Wiserhood.
I don't drink too much, couple glasses of whiskey during the day, usually a glass of wine or two with dinner and then beer with sporting events. On the weekends I don't drink though due to intermittent sentancing.

Thankfully I work out a ton so I stay in pretty good shape despite drinking a lot.
One summer I got pretty crazy and cut out drinking and crap food and dropped 20 pounds super quickly....but it wasn't worth it. So I'm back to my comfy weight.

I am 32 and have stopped drinking.
Over the last few years I had the odd drink here and there coupled with a big night out but a few months ago I decided that I am just done with drinking. This is mostly for my mental health but also for my physical health too, as those are both very much interrelated.
I feel good, not yet where I want to be in terms of mental health but physically I feel great.

I drink a beer when I am watching a thing. Hockey game, movie, good TV show, other sporting event, etc. Usually with dinner. Sometimes I have a few drinks throughout the course of that thing I'm watching.
