Yeah. I'm starting to wonder if the Flames spend too much time dawdling around with nobodies who won't make the final roster, trying to get "reads" on people, instead of spending the preseason getting ready for game 1.
The fact that we haven't won a season opener since, what, 2009? would certainly attest to this. I can't remember the last time we had a good start to a season.
It's not panic time, but there is some cause for concern.

How'd that work out? 
I would be interested to see our combined record in the first 10 games of the season since 2006. I bet we're below 0.500, and there were some good teams in that span.
