I also do not know if Janko will make the team right out of the gate this year but he will be a regular before the season is out. His IQ alone makes him a prime candidate for a full time call up at some point. I see such a smart, nay brilliant player out there, reads the ice so well and his passing is already middle of the pack NHL quality. Want to see him get set for better shots though. Undeniable the chemistry is between him and Tkachuk though.

Really think Jankowski has the ability to be an elite defensive forward in this league. The kid just oozes intelligence, and what he doesn't know he soaks up like a sponge when taught.

I feel like Lomberg is going to be the next Hathaway. Gritty, agitator, that just keeps working. Lomberg just doesn't have the size, but he does have the speed.

I guess I should have qualified what I was saying. I thought he didn't look as bad as I had heard, but watching on line is different than in person and guess who was on the ice for that goal...

Kravchenko from Tuulola point shot? Was that Kylington on the 2nd Assist?

That was quick. Looked like it went off D's glove?

The hope is that Jankowski can develop into a player similar to Backlund, with more size and more faceoff ability. It won't happen overnight, but I believe he can get there.

Lomberg! 2-1. Picks up a bad turnover from Subban and snipes short side.
