I'm sure that not nursing a significant biceps injury this summer helped a lot.

The really good news is that he and Monahan worked out together all summer and kept pushing each other, so they should both be at the top of their games when the season starts.

How about your foot? Are you more comfortable/powerful when kicking/jumping with your left or right foot?

How about when you do sweep floors or shovel snow? Do you hold your broom / shovel like a left- or right-handed hockey stick?

How about using a mouse on a computer? Holding a microphone in your hand? Left or right handed?

I am right handed, and I am more dominant on everything with my right hand and foot.

That's probably true.

A righty who shoots left will have their dominant hand controlling the stick, so they should have better puck control.

A righty who shoots right will have their dominant hand following through on shots and passes, so there should be more power behind them.

Obviously there are exceptions to that, but that's typically how it works.

Write and golf right handed, bat either (though stronger from right), left handed in hockey and surf goofy foot. Basically all over the map

I am very right handed, and I golf and shoot RH. But when I was a kid that's what everyone did - they shot the same as they wrote/threw/etc. Now that codynw mentions it, I was always OK at stickhandling and had a decent wrister but I had a crap slapshot.

My kid is RH but golfs and and shoots LH.
