At first when Flames did the poll I wasn't that fond of this option, but it really has grown on me. Local relevance.
Love love love the dudes but this is too tame for a goal song imo. They have another track that's unreleased but they play it quite often at their shows. It def is a high tempo goal song.
When I was s kid...the 'YAHOO!!' after each goal was incredible. The whole Dome would shout...to the point where you could even hear it on the broadcast if you were watching from home. I loved it.
For most of the last decade the graphic was moved to a small screen on the corner of the score clock and the timing of the sound was off. So disappointing!
Do they even do it at all anymore? I attended a couple games last year but don't even remember. My vote would be to bring Yosemite Sam back to the main screen and crank up a perfectly timed YAHOO!

No they don't do it.
IMO the less "Yahoo-ing" and "Yeehaw-ing" we do the better but I might be in the minority.
As an outsider, I have to admit Calgary's "AC/DC-Shot Down in Flames" destroys anything the Jets have, especially since they switched to "Shout." In fact, I think the Flames play some of the best music of all NHL teams. I've always loved Johnny Cash' "Ring of Fire" after a Flames victory.
I hope they keep "Go Johnny Go" for our lil magician.
I don't. They ripped off Tampa. Yeah, it makes more sense for Johnny but fair's fair, they got there first.

They ripped off Tampa? They ripped off Tampa..?!?!?
The guy goes by Johnny, the song has Johnny in the title, telling him to Go Johnny go, it was the most obvious song section of all time. Probably had nothing to do with Tampa in the slightest.
