Ya no doubt about that. Still makes me ill to see him with the Oilers. Gross.

Now
1) Calgary
2) Montreal (Price)
3) Winnipeg
4) Ottawa
5) Edmonton
6) Toronto
7) Vancouver
Future
Group A
This group of teams will all be strong playoff teams by 2018/2019
1) Winnipeg
2) Calgary
3) Edmonton (hate em but eventually the NHL's welfare system forces you to succeed, at least to a degree. Calgary's management will give the Flames an advantage that all the 1st OA's in the world can't... especially when compared to Edmonton's clown show)
4) Toronto
Lost in the desert
5) Ottawa
6) Montreal
Bad, bad, bad...
7) Vancouver (no plan in place to ever be more than middling. They could be Edmonton bad for a decade)

A healthy Carey Price could drag the Oilers into the playoffs IMO

1. Winnipeg
2. Montreal
3. Calgary
4. Ottawa
5. Vancouver
6. Edmonton
7. Toronto
Absent some great goaltending, Toronto isn't ready to be any good just yet. Absent injuries, Vancouver isn't ready to be completely terrible just yet (though they're getting very close). Edmonton... I'll believe it when it actually happens for once.

It did pain me a bit to not have them last, but beating Toronto and Vancouver is hardly an accomplishment

Mine is realistic based on previous seasons. Yours is butt-hurt fueled rage. If you actually believe that Edmonton will be better than three Canadian teams then I will remind you that Edmonton has proven over the last decade they can barely stay above bottom 3 in the entire NHL. Let alone be the fourth best Canadian team.

Calgary - the most balanced team in Canada right now.
Winnipeg - Probably a deeper team than Calgary, but I question their goaltending.
Ottawa - They should be a borderline playoff team in the East, but lower in points than the two above.
Montreal - not a rebuilding team, not a playoff team. Comfortably in no-man's land.
Edmonton - modest improvement to stave off another bottom 5 finish.
Toronto - Anderrsen will get exposed in Toronto. Team is still too young. Bottom 5 finish.
Vancouver - Those bandaids will loose their stickiness halfway through the season, and that team will implode.
