Wasn't this Bernier trade just a part of the earlier goalie trade between the Leafs and the Ducks. They just couldn't include it at the time because the Ducks were waiting for the Leafs to pay Bernier his $2M signing bonus. Now that it's been paid the rest of the trade goes through at what looks like ridiculous terms but it doesn't mean anything.
