Ok, you don't get it. Nobody cares here on your opinion of our jersey. It would be like me hanging out in a Canucks forum and giving input on what their jerseys should look like. They would tell me to go pound sand and rightfully so. Why would I even do that??

Why does it have to be relating them to the '80s, and the cup win? Why can't I like them because I think they're better looking?

I dont think you get it. Like at all. I'm talking about 80's jerseys in general.. you know, like the point of the thread?

further, and I have no idea why I'm even debating this... hockey fans always talk about jerseys and looks of jerseys. What kind of sociopathic bubble do you live in where you can't even discuss the look of a jersey unless your a fan? Jesus Christ push away from the keyboard

Well, there are other fans of other teams that come in here like that poster who is a Hawks fan or another poster who is a Wild fan and they are respectful and insightful about games, they fill us in on their teams, they don't come onto another teams board and try and push themselves on everything or go on the way you do. It isn't so much of another teams fan giving his opinion, it is the source of that opinion in this case comes from a guy who goes on a rival message board to spread the gospel of the Winnipeg Jets and it is damn annoying.

Dissentowner is Ken King. He hates the retros and that's why we haven't gotten them back!

Lol, I suppose I may have come across as hating them but I don't hate them, I am just not a fan compared to the 2004 or the current rendition.

2004 vs Retros I can get behind. There are arguments there. But the current ones just suck.

A call for the Retros is not some nostalgia thing. There plenty of people (inlcuding me) that weren't even born or living here during the Flames hayday. They just straight up look better.

Probably because your average Calgarian you run into on the street wasn't on board until the 2004 run (or even later). All they've known is the black C, they don't identify with the retro colours. The black C is the preferred choice for your average 2004 and beyond fan/newer Calgarian who jumped on the bandwagon.
