I just used the service for the first time on Monday.

Couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Well worth the $3 to get my groceries brought out to my vehicle within 5 minutes of arriving. This will now be how I do my grocery shopping for sure.

I booked an order yesterday for pickup today. For how great the service is, and how low the cost is I am surprised that the pickup slots almost are always available the next day. I would have thought they would be doing great. I know its early but now I wonder if it will not be popular enough to keep going...

Every time I've tried to do it, the schedule has been entirely booked for the next day except for the 7PM-9PM slot. I'd have to do two days down the road which has been too late for what we needed. Guess I'm looking on the wrong days!

Our cart on the website is still loaded with all our food, so eventually I'll find a time that works for me!

We used this service for the first time this week and I was impressed enough to want to use it again.

For those who were frustrated by the speed of the website (as I was at first), use the drop down menu's and then the 'pop-up' selections to navigate to the category you are interested in (also the search works good as well).

We plan our meals out for several weeks in advance and so now I just have an order 'open' for every 4 days with what we'll need for the planned meals - also I can add any staples that we run out of as soon as we notice it. Perfect service for people like us.

I find the westhills superstore you typically need to shop two days out. Also the website can be glitchy and sometimes won't let you check out - I called customer service and the guy told me it was because the time slot I had selected was actually full, even though it was available for selection. I picked a time slot for another day and the order went through no problem. So just fyi if anyone is having trouble checking out, that could be the issue (Time slot is full and website is not displaying that accurately).

I love this service. So much. The money saved on milk and dry goods at superstore compared to safeway far outstrips the $3 service charge. Plus not hauling my kids into superstore or not having to go grocery shopping at 9pm is so worth it!!

Got a good time slot at the Deerfoot Meadows store today. The whole process was painless, and I only waited 5 minutes for my food to come out. Will definitely do it again.

Are the employees who bring out the food allowed to take tips?

I have used this a few times now, and I can't imagine going into the store for a "regular shop" ever again.

A few things that I have learned:

- Ordering at Edgemont usually needs to be a day or two in advance, but Coventry Hills you can usually get the next day. Plus the Edgemont parking lot is a horrible place, any time of day. I'll drive a few extra minutes and factor Coventry into my errands just to avoid the hassle of Edgemont.

- You can pick your time slot in advance, submit your entire order, and still add/remove/modify until midnight the night before. So essentially lock in your order early, so to speak, and then just keep adding to it.

- At first I put "no substitutions" in my preferences. Now I allow substitutions because you can actually decline them once you get your confirmation email in the morning. Substitutions are rare anyway, and are usually reasonable enough to just accept.

- If you haven't linked your PC Plus to the online ordering yet, do it. It'll start populating the "my shop" tab with things from your shopping history, even in-store purchases from months ago. It is a great way to start a cart with some of your regular items, or to see when things are on sale that you typically buy.

My produce has all been good quality, which was my main reservation with this service. I don't know how they do this for $3, but I'll gladly pay that once a week for the privilege of NOT going into the store.

Does anyone know if the Shawnessy location offers this service? It doesn't seem to pop up when selecting a store

I am using the one on 20 Ave NE because it's on the way home from work and I can actually pick up same day from that location.

They don't have it yet - it was the first location I looked for too. My guess it that they don't have room to do it or need to renovate an area to set up for it. Deerfoot Meadows works well for me too!

I'd like the Shawnessy location to get it as well, but at this point I'd be happy to drive to Seton just to not have to enter a Superstore.

That's what I've done a couple times now and its totally worth it. My only issue is people not doing the click and collect who park in those spots. But that is a minor issue!

Did it yesterday at Deerfoot Meadows. Produce is awesome. Had a budget, kept to it.

Pick up took around 10 mins though as the bagger lady was slow.

10/10 would do again to avoid stepping foot inside Superstore..blech!

Can you redeem for the "free gift" they often hand out when you spend $250? I didn't see it on the site.

My experience is yes. You not request it on the site, but both times I've spent over $250 they just brought it out to me, first time made me question if it was my order.

On spending over $250, the first time they needed me to come in and pay as they couldn't auto charge my card (which was fine, not like I had to stand in line) the second time it just worked. Not sure why, maybe first time was higher total then the second.

First time user today and I am a fan for sure. I like the running total that you get as you fill your basket. That running total alone makes shopping a different experience.

The pickup was uber easy.

And the gravy? NOT HAVING TO FRANTICALLY BAG MY OWN STUFF!

The time and hassle saved are well worth the $3.

so is everyone happy with the quality of fruits and vegatables they have been given?

I am assuming that when your order includes frozen and dairy foods, they store them at the appropriate temp until you pick up.

is there option to select no-name products (i.e. tomato soup).

My wife ordered on Wednesday and picked up yesterday morning. Everything went smoothly.

It's the only way to grocery shop now. It's easier to stick to a list and do meal planning. $3 almost seems too cheap for not having to go into Superstore.

The only complaint she had were the eggplants weren't ones she would have chosen. But those are tough to get right on the best of days so she wasn't too pissed about it.
