I want the Sharks to win just so I can get a picture of Joe and I with the Cup
"Joe and me."
But do tell: what is your connection to Joe Thornton?
For the record: I hope the Blues win and outscore the Sharks 1,724–2. Years of past playoff rivalries has produced within me an unquenchable inferno of hate for the Sharks. At some point when the Flames have played every team in the playoffs, I will harbour nothing but irrational ill-will toward the entire rest of the NHL, but we are a long way from that.

Good news for those who do not like Paul Romanuk doing play-by-play, Bob Cole will be calling the Western Conference Final along with Mike Johnson and Christine Simpson.

YES!
Bob Cole understands stakes. He elevates the experience. Romanuk has been awful this year.

Despite their dominance over us in recent years (seems like the Blues are one of those teams the Flames never win against) - I am completely neutral towards them and actually happy that they have been able to get past the Hawks this year, and they're slowly shedding the choker label. Was also kinda happy for the Sharks even though there's a small dislike for them there, at least they took out the stupid Kings and James Neal/Mike Ribeiro Preds.
I'll be cheering for the Blues in this one because they're the most tolerable team left. Screw the Pens and Bolts. Hope they win the Cup.
Blues in 7. Let's Go Blues!!!

I grew up with Alex, Joe, and John in St Thomas.

On the fence on who I want to win this series as there are some guys on either side that would make for a feel good story if they win it. Probably leaning more towards SJ as it is kind of amusing to me that they had to get rid of oiler wonder coach to get over the hump.

Awesome. No, Bob Cole doesn't keep up as well as he used to, and sure he misses things quite frequently... like he'll be obviously wrong about what happened on the ice at least twice a game. But he just lends this gravitas and atmosphere to the game.

I think the Sharks will play a more desperate game. Unless Elliot can steal a few games, the Blues get out played in the grit department and it costs them the series.
Early on, a ton of Blues chances and almost all of them on misplays by the Sharks defense. They're lucky none have gone in.
