Think that is what we are getting at though.
Even with the Flames bad defense they should be in that .905 range at worst, but their poor defense will prevent them from having elite goaltending in that .920 range.
It was horrific goaltending that pushed them to the league worst .892.
In order to be a truly good team though they also need to work on team defense and get down from over 12 higher quality chances per game.
For example the team was at 11.5 per game last year, and the Stanley Cup champion Blackhawks were at 11.3.
