Not to be a Debbie Downer, but people are instructed to ID anyone who looks 30 or younger. So just because you're ID'd, doesn't mean they think you look 20.

Be 27 in a few weeks, I don't get ID'd much anymore. Here and there, but I'm usually kind of surprised when it happens! The census lady came by and when we did the age group part she said "So you would be in the... 25-35?" -- which was correct. Hopefully she was guessing on the lower end of that!

People thought I was about 25 for about 15 years. Last 5 years it's started to go up, but it's still like "29 maybe". I'm 38.

I recall when I was 27 and working at Shell Waterton the older guys thought I was a high school summer student. I always looked considerably younger than my age however the gap is closing in my 40's although I could probably pass for being mid-30's because my hair is still mostly black.

I know being asian has nothing to do with looking young, I'm 33 years old and people think I'm still in my late 20's. Guessing going to the gym and keeping fit and healthy and actively playing hockey every now and than has something to do with it. :P

Says I look 1-2 years older than I am. Also, hideously asymmetrical.

No one has mentioned nose hair yet. I turned 28, and all of a sudden, I had neat little black cacti sprouting from the upper inside corner of each nostril. You don't have that problem when you are 18.

Haha - when wait staff stop calling you Miss and start using Ma'am, you know you look old.

That's pretty cool. With my beard I look 5 years older, without 9 years younger.

Same with me. I'm 31 and got ID'd yesterday . I look probably 22-24.

I blame being part Asian as well, but luckily we are blessed with the gift of youthful looks!

Ear hair is an even better gift of aging.

At age 30, I have started getting wiry brows. I think they are super-cool because it kind of makes me look like a wizard.
