I believe the hockey gods, and karma itself will reward us with our strong play down the stretch and not just tanking. Even if we do not win, I feel like the player we pick will be exactly what we need.

Galaxy91122 from reddit makes gifs for the Flames. Usually only takes him 5 minutes.

All the gifs for the game. Don't want to steal credit.

Even Price and Holtby have nights like this. What matters is how often they happen. Does Ortio bounce back next game or not?

Crappy way to lose but what can you do? Wasn't the first time and won't be the last. Happy the young guys played well (outside of Monahan's bad shift in OT). Gio at 300 points is pretty impressive as well.

They play us as well. Huge game for draft implications. Not sure I'd bet the house on them beating the Oilers twice either. It's still very much up in the air. If we end up tied we have the tiebreaker with more wins.

It is never acceptable to lise to Edm or Van . It does not matter the reason.

I don't care what anybody says or if it looks bad on me, but these points are meaningless.
Do I want them to be competitive? Yes.
Do I want to see the young guys (Johnny, Monahan, Brodie, Hunter) all put up points and reach their personal milestones? Yes.
But I also don't want this team accumulating meaningless points that would hurt their draft position, in terms of both percentage chance at the top pick, as well as how far they can drop in the draft order. This team is close to doing good things and a top rated prospect would be huge for this organization and only add to the young core we already have. So i'll gladly eat some of my own pride and hope for 0 points in the last 3 games (2 against bitter rivals). This is coming from a die hard fan of the team for 30+ years.
I will admit though that beating put on the oilers on saturday and the reaction from the greasers was awesome even if it put the oilers out of reach.

We've already spanked Vancouver this season. They can have game 81 and kill their lottery odds. Start Hiller so we can just blame it on the tank commander.

I think a Shinkaruk hatty against his former team would be pretty awesome.

That's why they have 2 Cups and we don't
My son's first Flames game and he loved it despite the score. It was a lot of fun with plenty of goals and we both got a jersey - 40% off , woohoo!
My son is loving everything about Calgary and now the Flames are on the list!
Wish we were here for the Canucks game now.

I enjoyed watching the game, was nice to see the 'Dome mostly full. Just the 'wrong' ending.

Oh right. This needs to happen. 4-3 loss, with all Vancouver goals coming from their declining vets on some Hillerious misplays for entertainment's sake, and Monahan/Gaudreau assists on the Hunter tallies of course.

I just ran it six times and didn't look at what I got once because I know that the actual odds give me the best....odds at us picking first.
