Not only would Lucic fill the #1 RW he would be a hell of a deterrent.

Keith would give Johnny more room if there was a threat of a Lucic beat down, IMO.

He still has time but next year is probably his last shot to start making an impact. He's been passed by Shinkurak.
A couple times I saw him shy away from the play, or dish the puck off, where as Shinkurak continually gets engaged and pushes guys twice his size. If Poirer could be a little more engaging I think he will be just fine. As mentioned he is still developing and I am sure the coaches are working with his game. Even Brodie, Johnny and Sean have had growing pains. More likely he is just making sure he is focused on doing his assignments, but it will come.

The more I think about it the better an idea I think it is. We could use the salary we paid our loser goalies this year to bring him in for a couple years. He could even mentor Ferland.

Porier's shot attempts 5 on 5 for and against is 32 to 15 for a plus 17. Pretty good for 2 games

Not sure if he will be a star or first line player but he wasn't too bad in the games he played. Just didn't score

Say what? He has plenty of tools to be an effective NHLer without being a super pest. Bizarre stance

Hopefully Poirer turns it around soon. His toolbox is great, but for some reason he's just not displaying it

What a ridiculous statement.

It's threads like these that clearly show which posters have problems being patient with prospects.

Agreed, but you just know our luck it'd be a 10, not just a 2

Agreed....a lot of guys need to step it up and lay out a few shots, lumber, cheap shots... I don't care... all of the above... This is BS how guys continue to let this happen

This guy is 21 so has 3 more seasons to crack the team. Much ado about nothing. Hopefully he is able to get a roster spot next year. This could be an amazing bottom 6 if he can make a big step forward.

Colborne Backlund porier
Hathaway stajan bouma
