That is 100% deliberate. He stared Coyle down for a second yhen you can see his arm power through the swing. What a chicken #### move.

If you are pissed off at the guy for rocking you with a solid clean hit then be a man and square off. No weapons just a good old fisticuffs.

If you're going to rough up the current Conn Smythe winner, you need to know he's slightly unhinged and crazy.

I think he should be suspended, but it seems he's always been this way.

Will be 3-5 games I think. Has a history and blatant intent to injure.

It has to be more than 5 games. Has to be playoff games. 9 games would be perfect.

This is ridiculous, and he's a repeat offender.

I see no difference between Keith's hit and what Marty did to Brashear

Number of hands, and outcome. That's it.

Not if you go by the NHL DOPS definition of repeat offender. His prior offences occurred long enough ago that they have been stricken from his record.

Dirty play from a dirty player who has gotten away with way too many cheapshots. Pronger's elite status didn't protect him from some big suspensions. I see no reason why he should treat Keith any differently.

Length of suspensions are often based on the severity of the injury of the player being hit. Fortunately for Keith (and Coyle) Coyle looks like he will just need stitches so I doubt he gets much more than a couple of games.

Keith really has a history of dirty plays.

If he's smart he'll be claiming he was mildly concussed by the hard landing, because that means there can be no intent, amIrite James Oldham?!?!

If the NHL thinks Wideman was worth 20, this should be worth about 200.

2-3 games if it was anyone else. Repeat offender makes it 5.

Duncan Keith = the new Matt Cooke

S_C
Duncan Keith is actually one of the most dirty skilled players in the game. He gets away with so much because of his high profile. I seriously hope he gets more than 10 games for that crap. When he jabbed Gaudreaus back with the tip of his blade the other day I was thinking of all the dirty crap he gets away with and these clips came to mind. He's so tricky with how he retailiates trying to make it look unintentional. Sickening play.

He was also the one who said "Wakey wakey Backes" after Seabrook's flying elbow to the head. I didn't think that was that bad but I know some people didn't like it.

Total tangent, but I think of how after Gaudreau got slashed by the toe end of Keith's stick, they showed Gaudreau still wincing on the bench. Bollig was beside him and pointed to the toe of his stick, as if clarifying that was how Keith got him, and Johnny nodded.

Then Bollig went out and whacked Keith his next time out and challenged him to a fight. Or was it he went out and did some leisurely laps the rest of the game and rushed to the bank after to cash his cheque?

Get off our team Bollig.

Tangent over. Keith is dirty. Hope the book is thrown at him. 10 games!

Not sure the original Coyle hit was all that clean, but stick swing to the head should be at least 5.
