It looks like Dougie takes after their dad and Freddie after their mom.

News Update

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Freddie Hamilton is officially a game time decision, depending on status of a few "banged up" players. #Flames

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Hartley says Backlund is good to go. Monahan questionable though. #Flames

Obviously Steinberg hasn't read Sureloss's post earlier where Sureloss explained the rules of emergency call up. "Hey Pat $%$ off bring back Sureloss".

There's a lot. They would be twins if Dougie wasn't a ginger.

Glad to see some guys from the AHL get a look but it sucks that they are replacing core young players like Monahan, Bennett, and Brodie. Why couldn't they be in for Stajan, Bollig, and Engellend?

Looks like the opposite to me, except for those impressive brown eyebrows.

Dougie has the exact same smile as his mom and Freddie as his Dad. Freddie has a wide shaped head like his Dad while Dougie has a long skinny head like his Mom.

And yes this is very relevant hockey discussion. It's called Super Duper Advanced Stats.

I'd be pretty disappointed in Hartley if this was the case. Although, I'd guess that they had some assurances he'd play. Someone would tell them to hold off on calling the folks if he wasn't going to play tonight.

It isn't up to Hartley at all. If a Flames player can't go then Hamilton is in. If the player is good enough to play then Hamilton MUST be demoted because the emergency situation doesn't exist anymore. The doctors and the injured players will dictate who plays, Hartley has no control over the situation.

Meh, it's a multi-million dollar industry. They stopped catering to the parents long ago. If it works out it works out, if not, hey, at least they are all in the same city and can grab some dinner post-game.
