They probably just need a doctor's note saying Brodie and Bennett have not been cleared by our doctors to play.

They on the most part trust the team's doctors.

However they reserve the right to have their own doctors examine players if they suspect a team is using injury status to circumvent the CBA.

Day-to-day. They didn't have access to the morning skate information at that time. Since we haven't called up a d-men it seems that Engelland should be good to go since Brodie isn't.

I guess small chance Wideman draws in ahead of somebody if the arb result comes in and is favourable for him.

Thought that shinkaruk would get a look after how frustrated his camp seemed to be with the canucks

Shinkaruk has barely learned the systems yet. He has 3 points in 6 AHL games for us, which is basically identical to Poirier production.

So now it should be Wideman coming in for Brodie.

Excited to see Agostino - the kid has produced offensively at the AHL level for two seasons now and always had a strong defensive side to his game.

Really like the look of him with Backlund and Frolik

I think they should buy call ups t-shirts which say "Straight Outta Stockton" for them to wear during media scrums

If Agostino is playing, then we are still getting value from the 1976 4th round pick we (Atlanta Flames) used to draft Hakan Loob. Hurray.

Nilsson-Nieuwendyk-Iginla-Agostino

We sure are good at getting value from our 4th round picks.

It's nice that he's being put in a position to succeed playing with some more talented line-mates. Backlund has been excellent lately.

Since he's up on an emergency recall and can only stay if at least one forward is injured, that sounds like he's threatening the other players.

I wonder what the chances are of Bollig being sent down if Agostino is consistently providing so much more energy and offence than him?
