Smith-Pelly scored to put the Devils just a goal behind with four minutes left in regulation time. Fiddler on the roof scored the empty net goal, Stars win 4-2. Big loss for the Devils. No surprise of how close the score was, the past four games have had three of them go into overtime. Spezza likes to play against the Devils as he now has a four game point streak against them.

The BJs were 6-3 winners over the stupid Oilers. The bizarre part of this game was that each time the Oilers scored, the BJs scored less than a minute afterwards. All the highlight channels were saying that probably was the 1st time in league history that ever happened. The Devils lose 4-2 and also lost Schneider to a possible groin injury. Kincaid had to come in net early in the 3rd period. Schneider had to be helped off the ice. The Capitals suffer a rare loss as the visiting Rangers upset them 3-2 in reg time.
