I'm gonna miss Hudler. I never thought his contract was a bad one the day he signed. He was a consistent 50pts player, cup winner, and was trained in the Red Wings system. Never understood the hate his contract got the day he was signed.
And his very first shift he showed off his skill when he took a pass on the blueline and pivoted around it and kept it onside. The pbp guys were raving about that move, his all around skill, and how he was a well-trained player from the Detroit organization.
His work with the young players was immeasurable. Very sad to see him go, and wish him nothing but the best. He sure looks good in Flames' silks.
