I like my 587 number but it has a lot of 7s and has been lucky for me. I wish I could've kept my old 403 number but since I had a crazy stalker who was harassing me, it wasn't possible.

If someone doesn't know about this and a broad gives him a 825 number, what would he think?

No. It has to be a 403.
I was so choked when I cancelled a cell phone and lost the number because I didn't port it over before canceling. I thought I did it in a logical order, but nope. So then I had to get a new number, and all they had were 587 numbers. It was devastating. My sadness must have been obvious because the CSR told me to keep calling back every day and see if there were any 403 numbers. Because of how it works, sometimes there are, and sometimes there aren't.

It took a few days, and I finally got a 403 number. This was almost 3 years ago. And I still get collection agency calls for some guy (or girl?) named Jing Joo. Annoying, but at least I'm an OG with a 403.

Well if he called her a broad, he can think whatever he wants, but that number's gonna be fake with or without the 825 area code.

I used to have the "403" stigma. However, 2 years ago I had to get a new number (had a company phone forever, but changed companies) and was given the option of a fresh 587 number and a used 403 number. I went used. I've talked to the previous owners friends, family, and creditors so often since I've had this number, I sometimes wish I went with the shiny new 587.

This thread means that I have to confess something.

I received a recall letter in the mail to repair our dishwasher that had 2 companies I could call in order to come and fix it.

One company had a 403 and one had a 587 number.

Now it boils down to available criteria. I'm not paying for this. So guess which one I called?

The 403 one. Because I figured they've been in business longer based on absolutely no actual information. That was a pure assumption based on nothing but a phone number.

Which is a shame really. I'd get a cell phone in a 666 area code just for the lulz.

She's punching her number into your phone, you won't even know what it is.

If I was that ignorant of an area code, I would look it up out of curiousity.

Your obviously classy imaginary friend would apparently pass up a good thing, it seems.

My number ends in XXYZ so whenever I am out and don't want to give my number to someone I give them XXZY.

Whoever has that number HATES me without any doubt. But they always know when I am out car shopping, etc

587 numbers are not long distance if they are in the same city or calling area. If you were in Calgary and the 587 number was in Edmonton, it would be long distance.
