Yes they do.

And now my Nucks fan friend is super poopy. Bet won. My personal caddy for a full 18 holes, umbella is coming with rain or shine for him to hold. After all, I may need some shade when taking my shot. And plenty of beer for him to hand me while having to sport my vintage kipper jersey.

There will be pictures.

And I thought things were bad here. Bleak times in Vancouver. They've gone full Oiler.

Guess the Nucks wanna go draft pick too. Be interesting to see how much Benning actually sells at the deadline.

Canadian teams looking to rule the Trade Deadline (as sellers), the NHL Draft Lottery, and the NHL Entry Draft

How nucks fans are feeling these days. It hasn't been a very fun couple years.

Game in a nutshell:

I would be incredibly depressed as a Canucks fan. They have almost literally nothing going for them right now or long-term.

Well they have a lot of B prospects

McCann, Virtanen, Horvat, Sven, Etem.

Too bad none of them will come close to filling the shoes of Daniel and Henrik.

I was impressed with Wotherspoon and Nak.

Groundhog Day came a little late in Vancouver this year.

Every morning now, they wake up and the clock radio is playing Sonny and Cher singing, ‘Five to two, babe!’ But don't worry. By the end of the movie, they'll finally figure out how to play hockey and win Andie MacDowell's heart.

Except you know, the rest of life that isn't a game...

As for the game, it was a good game, Calgary is obviously the better team, the Canucks just look slow and disinterested. There didn't seem to be much animosity between the two clubs, no scrums or major hits.

What was the handling the puck penalty for, most of the people I was sitting with had no idea, thought it was a glove pass if nothing else.

You aren't allowed to touch the puck with your glove on a faceoff or it's two minutes.

I knew this stat was bad, but I didn't realize how bad until I just looked it up... This will be the first season that the Flames will outright win the regular season series against the Canucks (i.e. no ties or wins based on more OTL points) since 2002-03.

2002-03 : 2W / 1L / 2T
2003-04 : 2W / 3L / 1T
2005-06 : 4W / 4L
2006-07 : 4W / 4L
2007-08 : 3W / 5L
2008-09 : 2W / 4L
2009-10 : 3W / 3L
2010-11 : 1W / 5L
2011-12 : 3W / 3L
2012-13 : 1W / 4L
2013-14 : 0W / 5L
2014-15 : 2W / 2L
2015-16 : 3W / 1L (one game to go)

The Flames won 2 playoff series against the Canucks in less time than it took to win two regular season series against them.

It's always fun to see the Flames beat the Nucks. Tank notwithstanding. Still don't want to cheer for losses.

Thought Hiller was better after getting shelled for a bit. Give credit where it's due there.

Liked Nakladal's game - he's got a decent shot and a good eye for when to go. Thought 'spoon was quietly effective.

Really liked Bennett's game at centre - more ice for him and the boys opened up the wings rather well.

And for once, the second line took over the game - very happy to see that. Now, if we can get all three lines going at the same time.....(I've really only "sort of given up on the season" so far).

Oh, and a LOT less giveaways directly in front of the net. That seems to be a good thing.
