Well you can't say most of the teams behind us aren't trying to catch us! On the other hand teams like OTT, MIN, VAN and PHX are trying to let us pass them!

Don't remember a year where the bottom was as tight as this.

Well, didn't see any of the game, but he scored the shorthanded goal to tie the game.

At risk of giving anything Oilers credit, McClellan in this case is cleary giving a reward/recognition to a guy that probably played a pretty good and honest game, and probably does so most nights in comparison to the more skilled, yet floating, forwards/teammates.

Also, not coincidentally, sending out him over the other guys sends a note to those "offensive talents" that they're not pulling their weight. He can't wring their necks in this day and age, so this is all he has to use. That message probably passed right over, or through, most of those guys' brains, however.

Also more importantly Hendricks is historically great at the shootout.

He was famous in Washington for "The Paralyzer"

At one point in 2013 he was statistically the best in the league actually, 9 for 15.

So, Hendricks is like the Oilers' version of Colborne?

And according to some around here, colborne is better than monahan so I guess hendricks is better than most of their guys!

He's a good role player but I just can't stand the guy. He's a perfect oiler!

A lucky point for my guys.

Sportsnet and TVA have different advertisers. And Vancouver is a small market next to Toronto. A 10PM start loses more advertising.
