If only Colborne played like he did in the playoffs, he would be regular in the line up, no question. If you can't contribute offensively, at least be annoying to play against.

I'm not a fan of Colborne but all evidence suggests he is a consummate pro and tries his best. There has been no indication he is a negative influence on or off the ice. It's stuff like this that makes players want to avoid Canada IMO. The scrutiny is just over the top at times.

I really dislike this trend of "I don't like a player for X so I'm going to make up Y about their personality or personal life to justify it. And I'm right too."

If you don't like a player, that's fine. I don't like Bouma, but I'm not going to make up crap like he feels entitled to a top 6 position because he scored 16 goals last year.

It's actually kind of cool that so many people can read minds and get a full read on a personality based on their face or a decision they make in their career.

I have exes that I dated for months and still don't know that much about them. Hockey fandom 2.0: EVOLUTION.

Nothing has changed, he has no heart.

Colborne's still iffy, but at least he's simplified his game since coming back. Not hanging onto the puck so much, dishing it off when we're all expecting him to while watching (instead of holding on for an extra 4-5 sec and gets pokechecked)

This post of yours is possibly even worse than your last. I don't care how it "looks" from your digital vantage point, and am resoundingly unimpressed by your amateur attempts to psychoanalyse a person you have never met.

The fact is, "emotion," "will," "desire," "effort," are NOT even remotely discernible from a spectator's vista.

It's safe to say that you don't like the way Colborne plays hockey, and you are projecting that opinion onto his character.
