There have already been female hockey coaches at the college level for women's hockey, so why is it a stretch to imagine that it will happen at the NHL level before the emergence of a black male coach?

Grant Fuhr was the goalie coach for the Coyotes when Gretzky was coaching there. Brathwaite has been working with the Canadian Junior team and I wouldn't be surprised to see him move into an NHL role.
I'd bet we'll see a woman hired as an NHL GM before we see one as a head or assistant coach.
