David Jones. Guys makes the most undeserving 4 mil I've ever seen in a 4 mil player. Shows up once every 15 games. People still defend him because he's ''big'' and is one of our few natural RWs. To boot, he's in a contract year and seems to be mailing it in.
Can't wait until he is gone.

His new system is the reason they're score less than 2GF/game. You don't Tippett the Anaheim Ducks when you have that kind of firepower at your arsenal.

Colborne for three seasons now.
He has never been good. He wouldn't have even made the team in his first season if he had actually been required to work for his spot and wasn't handed it out of necessity. The only thing he can actually do is stand in front of the net on the PP, and he's not even good at that.
Slow, lazy, absolutely abysmal in the defensive zone, and happens to kill almost every play in the offensive zone.

Look on the bright side; there isn't one contract on the team that's so terrible that it's the obvious, "David Clarkson" sort of response.

Colborne is really good at hanging onto the puck and doing a lap around the perimeter of the offensive zone, I will say that.

Ramo & Russell Should Be Re-signed
I agree with everyone mentioned in this thread except Ramo and Russell. Ramo will continue to improve and offers the only chance for the Flames to make the post season. Hiller should only be given the occasional back to back game if any.
Russell is a much better defenseman than the critics think, and should be re-signed if he takes a home team discount. Ramo should be resigned if he accepts 3 to 3 1/2 million.
Hiller and Wideman need to go asap.

Right now? Probably because I'm in bad mood but I'd say anyone that doesnt have a 0, a 3, a 5 or a 7 in their number. You got one of those digits in your number...you can stay.

I hear you. No abominable contracts but there way too many fat contracts for a bottom tier team. There is an alarming number of players on this team that would likely go unclaimed if placed on waivers today.

He didn't "Tippett" the team until he had no choice. He didn't do it last year, but they weren't scoring to stay this year so he has to change things. If you aren't scoring, you better start playing d

Colborne, Raymond, Russel and Wideman. I don't mind Russel as much as the other 3, just think we need to have bigger defenceman.

Funny think about Wideman is that this fall off was predictable. Season to season consistency has always been an issue. The Wideman Russell pairing was also very over rated last season and had the benefit of a lot of bounces.
Not a popular sentiment in the off season. But the Flames should have moved him this summer. Assuming there was a taker for that cap.

Heh...I'll play too, but for MY guys...Rozival! he is (and has been) just a pylon that is clogging the roster, and a chance to develop guys like Svedberg or Pokka.
