why why why do the Flames insist on pulling the goalie when they don't have control of the puck?

I think we have every reason to complain for this team’s lacklustre performance when it’s based mostly on lack of compete, brains, and common sense instead of things like skill and talent.

You want to quote me on that? Go right ahead.

What difference does it make? You're losing anyway.

Precisely. And that's why it shouldn't have been a goal.

wont be seeing Playoffs this year I fear.

Not enough full game effort from the Flames, they dont really deserve to be there

Hey VAN I'm really happy for you that you believe they can make the playoffs. I really am. You keep hoping for that 5 game winning streak champ.

Please go watch the replay. I mentioned it in the GT, but that goal was 100% on Hiller.

A soft shot came in and he could have easily frozen it but instead let it softly hit his pads and put it right back out into the danger zone. It was an absolutely bone headed play which directly lead to New Jersey's next couple of chances on the rebound and eventual goal.

This team will never go anywhere without improving the goaltending position. It hasn't won us many games single handedly, but it sure as hell has lost us multiple games.

Auston Matthews, potential franchise centre playing pro in Switzerland and doing well.
There's also a couple Finnish RWers that look like potential superstars called Patrick Laine and Jesse Puljujarvi.
Then you have Keith Tkachuk's son Matt who plays like his dad (London).
Michel Nylander's younger son Alex who is tearing up the OHL (Missasauga).
A couple stud defenders in Jakob Chychrun (Sarnia) and Olli Juolevi (London).

There's more but you get the idea. Those are the top 7 guys IMO at the moment.

9 really good players, top 3 are better than the rest, but 4-9 are also very good. Comparable to 3-7 last year. Sergachyov, Juolevi and Chychrun are all comparable to Provorov and Hanifin from a year ago on the defensive side.
