Bennett will not ever score another goal this season.

I love the Oilers bashing as much as the next guy but this is an important game. We need to string together some wins.

Hopefully a big game for Johnny, as the Oiler fans seem to be IRATE when commentators talk about him. Would be great to see them talking about him all night so they can continue to lose their **** over it.

Of course, they will all take a home town discount, cause that's what you do in Calgary."

I hope this guy is right.
This guys delusional 3 points up with 3 games in hand he forgot that part

I hope we just crush them with all the points coming from Monahan, Gaudreau, Bennett, Hamilton, Brodie, Ferland, Granlund. Show those clowns up North what a quality rebuild looks like

Flames win Eleventy-ten to nothing.

Johnny Hockey and Sammy Shinny school the Oilers on how to play hockey good.

and the flames own the tiebreaker, so essentially the oilers have lost 10 more points then the Flames in half a season where the flames weren't exactly world beaters. But for the moment it looks closer then it is. the oilers are solidly in last place in the conference and it's gonna take something big for that to change by seasons end.

The light at the end of the tunnel is the fact there are 40 games left.

Well that's because they're used to the hype machine of the oilers regional broadcast team, and it goes counter to everything they believe in that the Oilers are one step from a Chicago/Montreal Canadians dynasty and every team would easily trade their rosters for the Oilers and throw in the next decade of first round draft picks.

Frankly national coverage injects a realism about the Oilers situation that their fans refuse to believe, yet when they sleep at night in their Oiler footy pajamas while silently stroking their Mark Messier teddy bears on the surface fight the perception that the Oilers are a badly built franchise stocked with a bunch of soft lazy quiters, but deep down they know

The Oilers are a blight on the NHL and no damn good.

I have noticed that as well as Oilers fans seem to think Johnny gets way too much attention on broadcasts. It drives them crazy. Kind of ironic seeing he gets attention for all the right reasons while the Oilers kids have all received far more attention than they have ever deserved over the years. There's an Oilers article today talking about they have all this elite talent and speed they have but the pucks aren't going into the net. The thing is that the Oilers have been close to or the lowest scoring team in the league for years now. They don't score goals because their talent isn't nearly as elite as their fans and media think it is.

Sure i get that but I'm more alluding to the fact that it would be nice to wake up in a playoff spot with a win but with others around the flames starting to win and the flames being idle on a lot of nights lately, the hill just seems that much more steep.
