The team got 11 shots. That's a terrible game no matter how you look at it.

Yeah good point. They both look nearly unbeatable on some nights

At least our record didn't end against the Greasers. My goodness, the coma inducing play of the Ducks! And that was the fewest shots this year. Cracky, guys! I won't need a sleeping pill tonight. Congratulations Boudreau. You are the new Lemaire. And that is NOT a compliment.

No no no, see the Ducks actually didn't, because they weren't forced to play defense for more than a couple minutes, because it was literally a 85x150 foot game all night.

The Ducks only had 21 shots it was just one of those defensive struggles and they happened to bury one.

Hey Sutter, Wideman jumped Kesler because he didn't want him fighting Brodie. Duh.
Boring game. On to the next one.

I ####ing HATE the ducks.
It's a team full of dirty ex-oilers and ex-canucks combined with one of the douchiest guys in the league. Just watching them play makes me want to hit someone in the face.

This was the worst game I watched all season (I skipped many of the terrible early season games). We should have won this game, why? Because we were giving the puck away over and over, unforced just dumb turnovers. The passes were off, everything was bad. That we lost 0-1 just shows how bad Anaheim was, the trap isn't that hard to beat and Anaheim was kind of a soft team. The team played well for 4 or 5 minutes at the end of the game, if they played like that for 15 we'd have won the game most likely, oh well. The way to beat these idiots is skate like hell and speed the game way up, instead we'd just skate to the blueline, stop, give it away.
We could also pass it in around the oppositions net to the other winger but still, their trap wasn't that good. We played like a power puncher running straight at a counter puncher, we played right into their hands. That loss is on Hartley, we should have won.

At least the Oilers lost, Arizona is losing, and the Canucks continue to suck. Flames are still in good shape in the Pacific.

Meh we can't win them all. Anaheim simply played a perfect trap. We had no answer even after going into the second period knowing the Ducks were trapping.
Well I guess the Devils played the same way for 10 years and were successful so it's no easy task.
Kesler is a true scumbag. Silver looks good on him.

While certainly not a great game, particularly the last half of the 2nd, the Ducks played a suffocating game. My app tells me it was 14 shots, and it's not like the Ducks were peppering shots either with just 21.
It was a defensive game, and I would say guys like Monahan did well to generate anything at all against a Ducks team playing the way they did tonight. Great in the dot as well, beating Kesler many times tonight.

They played defensively in the neutral zone for most of the game...Flames couldn't get it in their zone but its not like they gave up much either
one goal loss, some of you need to chill

I thought it was a pretty horrible effort by the Flames. They made too many unnecessary boneheaded plays that lead to turnovers and when they did get the puck in the Ducks' zone they just played with it until they lost possession. SHOOT

Oh and it's quite obvious why Getzlaf has 2 goals in like 50 games playing crap Boudreau hockey. All they do is cycle and then change. Getzlaf is still one of the best centers in the NHL. Boudreau is one of the worst things to happen to the NHL.
