He's let in 5. Despite the goals allowed he has played good. The goals against he didn't really have a chance on.

Another one through the net and Sweden ties it up. Hopefully this teaches this team that they have to be more disciplined.

Saying McDonald has played good is incredibly disingenuous.
He has looked small, slow or poorly positioned on every goal here in the third.

I have to agree. I thought he had a good first two periods and made some key saves despite looking a bit awkward at times, but he's had a terrible third period (along with the rest of the Canadian team).

I think his play's been somewhere between "good" and this post. Extended PP time (especially 5 on 3) makes it easier to score, but McDonald has certainly been suspect on a couple.
And I think Tommy Salo was in net for Sweden on the last Canadian goal.

had to work, so I didn't see it. But I did see Blackwood the other day and he was very very good. And 5 goals is a lot no matter how good the chances are.

He's been mostly poor, but the defence in front of him has been worse
the top 6 are going to need to outscore a lot of the defensive frailty it looks like

Thought Hickey looked good on the 5 on 3s. Canada made a lot of mental mistakes in the third, played like it was a tune up game. McDonald redeemed himself with a couple amazing saves at the end.
