The scariest part of all this... is there is no goalie in sight for the Calgary Flames. There is literally nothing out there.

At this point, that's a good thing.
This team with a healthy Carey Price still sucks and goes nowhere.
At least we don't have to worry about a good goalie messing up a top 3 pick.

Both teams have garbage goaltending, too many penalties, and awful defending. The Flames only saving grace in that aspect is they're free of their goaltending after this season. How many years did the Jets lock Pavelec up for again?

Unless we get our own version of last years Dubnyk I hope the Flames just run with what they have. I don't think it's worth giving up an asset to go on a bit of a run only to end up with a draft pick in the teens. If that happens I want it to be because the team got better and that way we can trade for assets at the deadline and have higher hopes for next year.
