Why can't you keep your West Nile mosquitoes to yourselves?

OOOOH!!! I get it now.

West Nile is nothing. 95% of people that get it don't even know they got it. It gives you a cold...Unless you are old, its really not a huge problem, just something the media has blown WAY out of proportion.

Not even worth worrying about. the chances of getting it are worse than getting hit by lightning 3 times on 3 DIFFERENT occasions.

Haha! That has to be one of the funniest typos I've seen. I read your post and just stared at it for five minutes trying to figure it out. I thought you were talking about the Red Mile or something. HA! Thanks for the chuckle! [/b][/quote]
Anything to enlighten Frank The Tank, hey whatever happened to your old sig? The one with the robot on it? It rocked!

Ah the old sig....I lost it when we switched servers. Someone (Shawnski?) was hosting it for me because I didn't have anywhere to put it. I'm in the midst of making a new one, but like everything in my life right now, I'm having a hard time finding the time to do it. Soon I hope.

Why hasn't the idea of a "social" caught on anywhere else? I personally would have loved a way to subsidize my wife's wedding bills.

As for the Jambusters, I think the real question is 'Why do YOU call Jambusters 'Jelly Donuts'?'
Because that's what the rest of the world (save for Manitoba) calls them.

When I heard about the concept of a Wedding Social I couldn't believe it at first.

"Total strangers come and buy tickets & drinks to help you pay for your wedding? This is common?"

What's even more wierd is the Wedding Reception Socials where total strangers buy tickets to get into your wedding reception and get shinguardfaced while you sit at the head table with your new spouse...

MIBH, I have no idea, but we really need to look into this. Social's are amazing times, and they REALLY need to be spread out west.

Lab Lite is just a rite-of-passage in Manitoba. Not saying everyone RELIGIOUSLY drinks it, but everyone HAS drinken in. And Been drunk on it.

Anyone want to join the crusade of 'BRINGING SOCIALS TO ALBERTA' with me???

We did a social here for a buddy's wedding. Of course it ended up being on game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals, so I had to set up a projector and a satellite dish before heading to the Dome for the game.

Could I have an in-depth explanation as to what a wedding social is? Does it take place before or after the wedding? Is it like a shower? A reception? Stag/stagette? What's with this reference to money?

I'm so confused. Maybe I should amble over to the "I am gay thread" for a while.
