Did the NHL ban the rule that you can't tuck in your jerseys?

Ramo really needs to work on that rebound control, but he's had a good period.

I wouldn't go so far as to call that a good period - but the Flames looked a little more poised than they've often been this year. Even if pucks didn't clear the zone or go where they needed to to, the defence was very bend-but-don't-break instead of a complete fire drill.

Brodie and Hamilton have some jump tonight.
The team is skating very well coming off b2b games.

I don't think so. If I had to guess it's just not enforced very much because it's a stupid rule that most people forget about.

Ramo had a good game last night (his 1st of the year), and it looks to be carrying forward. Needs to finish the final 40 strong.

Of course? Maybe last year but he has been very clutch this year.
I would not be against trying Grant with Johny and Hudler
Hudler and Johny are pure possession players. If Mony cant win the majority of his draws then Johny and Hudler start their shift defending.
You could then go Mony Bennet and Frolik for a bit of flash, grit and defense

According to nhl.com, Flames rank 19th in missed shots with 173. The Leafs have missed the most (237) and the Devils have missed the least (143).

Of course the Leafs lead that catagory. They do have Dion "I shoot hard and wide" Phaneuf after all

Also, it just hit me that period when I was trying to pinpoint what it was last year that made us so effective.
I think guys are hanging onto the puck way to long. Last year it was literally tic tac toe on the way out of the zone and a lot of tic tac shoot inside the zone. Of course it won't always work but it got quick shots off that made a goalie move. Another pet peeve this year has been the lack of everyone entering the zone with speed. This years flames cruise to the blue, hit the brakes and then the puck is dumped in.
Hoping for a early goal in the 2nd and would love for it to be a quick 2/3 passed on the breakout and then enter and 2 quick passes and shoot

poor wording on my part, but not talking about Jones specifically. The Flames just can't seem to capitalize on their chances for most of this season. recently, the TB game was an example of that. The Flames put a great amount of pressure on a team, get a couple glorious chances, miss them, then the other team skates back and scores on their chances with ease it seems. very frustrating.
