I remember last year watching him in the games against Vancouver and Edmonton and he was less than impressive and then he came here and looked like the best he has been a in a few years.

Flames are his 6th highest P/GP opponent, he has 8 goals and 4 assists in 8 games played for 1.50 points per game. We are his fourth favourite Western conference team.

Winnipeg is technically his best P/GP in the Western Conference but that's shewed due to them being in the East for a little as he has played them 28 times. He has 47 points in 28 games good for 1.68 P/GP

Edmonton comes in at number two with 2 goals and 12 assists in 9 games played for 1.56 P/GP

This game has all the makings of a total disaster, not to mention Crosby is in a slump. He's gonna break out eventually, and knowing our luck, it'll be tonight. Despite the win against the Flyers, the Flames are nowhere near where they need to be. I've got a bad feeling about this one.

4-2 Pens. Crosby with a 3 point night.

Here's hoping the boys prove me wrong.

If we win another game technically its a streak! Then we petition the NHL to relocate the Flames to Pennsylvania and we can own that place!

Grant won 10 of 11 faceoffs against Philly and dominated one of the better face-off guys in Giroux. I was impressed with Grant, he deserves that spot

To be honest I think it is more about the faceoff dot. Grant was 90% in the dot on Thursday night, so Hartley wants him to take faceoffs. Wouldn't be surprised if he's just taking draws and Bennett assumes the centre role during the play.

The Flames have not beaten the Penguins in nearly 10 years.

Somehow I don't see this team being the one to buck the trend, the way they are playing.

I'm okay with it. He'll get his spot in time right now they're just trying to get him on a roll.

Dont worry about it, its his first year, you dont want to throw him to the wolves playing 2nd line centre right away and you dont really want to waste him as a 3/4 centre when you've got guys like Backlund and Stajan for those roles.

I like Grant, kid was money in the dot and made some very good plays all over the ice. He made a play, coming out from behind our net to pick off a pass that most would skated wide on. He saw the play and cut sharply up the post to pick it off. It was subtle but nice. The kid scores tonight!

Need a strong defensive showing again with some more shots from the outside.

Hey don't get me wrong, I don't mind Grant at all. But Bennett is one of the cornerstones of the franchise, Grant is not. I'd just rather see Bennett play center on that line, even if he gets killed in the dot. He has to learn eventually. But whatever, I hope Grant has a great game and that line does well.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Grant is there to take the faceoff and then him and Bennett switch positions.
