Flames call up Derek Grant

I remember arguing to no avail that Grant was getting underrated in the prospect rankings we did in the summer...he has NHL experience and is certainly ahead of many of our youngsters.

Why do call-ups always have to play on the 4th line? Jooris did quite well on the 2nd and 3rd lines last year when called upon. Same with Ferland.

Also to echo Btimbit, Grant was really noticeable in preseason. I like this call up and I think if he gets a chance to play he can be just as effective if not more than the likes of Jones or Raymond.
