Toews just would not be denied...awful defending by Fippula and Stralman (I think)...

On air, 'Hawk announcers, Foley and Olcyzk admitted that the lack of a #1 LW has hurt Toews and Hossa's production...'Hawk fans are wondering how long before Dano gets HIS shot at that line.

Nice pass by Mrazek to Nyquist for the OT winner.

Buffalo is 2-6-0 now. Which makes me happy.

Starting goalie goes down and we have an extra we'll send at a very reasonable price.

No? Don't want?

Well screw you. Enjoy being the Oilers of the East yet another year.

Gotta be worrisome that the Sedins are becoming invisible and the kids, while maybe promising, are years away from being good support players.

Hutton continues to blow my mind. Strips Zetterberg, calmly controls 3 on 3, sharp accurate passes, etc. Where the hell did he come from???

Guess you missed the first Detroit goal...he was the goat. He looks pretty average to me.

Mike Johnson thinks there'll be more 4 on 3 opportunities so teams will practice it more. 4 on 4 overtime with a penalty means a 4 on 3 power-play. 3 on 3 overtime also means a 4 on 3 power-play. So more penalties in overtime Mike?

Anaheim has played 7 games, and have been shut out 4 times, and held to one goal another 2 times.

Bruce Boudreau seems to lose the room after a while. His players have obviously quit on him.

Except they have some crazy potential center depth with Eichel, O'Reilly, Reinhart and Girgensons all capable of playing it. Ristolainen is looking like a stud, Bogosian is a competent 20+ minute a night defender and Pysyk and McCabe both have top 4 potential. As despicable of a tank job they did, I do think they at least did it the right way. If I'm an Eastern fan, I don't think I want the Sabres drafting a blue chip prospect like Chychrun to bolster their defense.

Taking away the empty net goal they scored - the Ducks have scored 5 goals in 7 games.

Another goal was a meaningless goal when they were down 4-0 with under 8 minutes left in the game.

How great would it be if Anaheim fires Boudreau and hires Brent Sutter?

What was Bobrovski doing? Could have drove a semi through that five hole.

I feel like Anaheim had a start like this 4 seasons ago.
