garbage loss we fail to convert anything on every odd man rush we get I'm so pissed right now. I'm so sick of these games where we decide to just coast after the first

Thanks for playing a mostly good game Ramo, then costing us the game with a horrible goal that my 10 year old son would have easily stopped.

Team is not putting in the effort at all and is quite a bit behind the 8 ball.

Fully expect even the Coilers to give them a good run tomorrow as the team that is currently out there pretending to be a hockey team is not significantly better than the tire fire up north.

Not enough goal scorers on this team. That's the second one-goal game they've played.

Too many bottom 6 players on the team, not enough true top 6 players.

I think the team played a good game overall, but fancy pasess and one bad goal by Ramo that late in the game costs us. Why can't Ramo did this blooper earlier?

I agree. Hopefully Treliving does something to add to that.

If we are gonna carry three goalies, Ramo deserves a seat upstairs tomorrow night for that goal alone. That can't go in at the best of times, let alone late in the third in a tie game.

Disgusting

Ever time the period gets down to the 2 minute mark in a game were winning or a tie game we look so damn lost. I don't know how many goals have been scored on us with less than 2 minutes left in a period...

It's really hard to do that when some of your bottom 6 players are paid like top 6ers.

Didn't really have control IMO

Seemed like Hartley most likely knew it was a good goal but tried regardless and as a result got an extended timeout at a time when he would've probably called one anyways so that seemed pretty clever.

We're going go blame goaltending for the loss tonight?

The team was flat for a 30 minute stretch. Come on guys.

As others have said Ramo played great .....and then that. Also Wideman looked like he was 90 years old on that play.

Frolik line was good. Getting nothing out of the 3rd and 4th lines.

Meh , thought the jets caught game changing missed call (Johnny alone in front looked to get hooked) and a BS double minor against Jooris (hit a player on his shot follow through)
1st ,2nd lines are set in my mind now to solidify the 3rd.
Why is Kulak giving the puck to D.E every play it's not like his long passes into the middle of the ice were doing any good
The Jets look good though Big fast skilled.

This team needs to change things up and quick. Ramo looked ok then let in a terribad goal. They need to shoot more and stop the blown coverage.

Very unimpressed with the Flames so far this season. There's been no change to the system from last year - and we very simply need to control the puck - A LOT - more.

In what regard? We defended really well for the most part, especially in the 3rd where we restricted them to barely anything. But for 40 minutes we offered the grand total of naff all in their zone. Hartley needs to massively jig the 2-4th lines up, just isn't happening. Few sparks here and there, but nothing really of note.

Raymond was anonymous, really don't see what Bollig offers. Ferland is another that needs to buck his ideas up and start contributing. Backlund had a strong 2 way game, probably our best forward. Frolik looks sharp and he looks fine on alongside Backlund. Gio had his best game defensively, still lacking offensively, but hopefully he is ramping back up to his best. The rest of the d were ok, nothing they could have done with either the first 2 goals. Just luck and bad goaltending.

Ramo, god he's so frustrating. Rock solid for 58 minutes and then lets that one in to lose us the game. The life of a goalie in a nutshell. Time for Ortio to get a run. Put him in tomorrow and hope to god he takes off.

Really poor start to the season. Offensively we've been garbage, utter garbage. The odd decent moment, but we're struggling to maintain any sort of pressure, our puck possession is still terrible, we're still getting hemmed in our own zone too often. Time for Hartley to start earning his paycheque and get the team going. Lose tomorrow and I can see some going mental. Big pressure on them now.
