The downside of killing off a penalty in OT is it goes back to 4 on 4 (until the next whistle) and that kind of defeats the purpose.

Ducks have looked a little groggy coming out of the gates over two games.

Silfverberg makes it look easy, 1-0 after round 1.

Vrbata does his usual thing and scores easily.
Rakell stopped.

Burrows scores, lame.

Canucks win, Perry dumb.

Vrbata has silky soft hands actually. I've watched all canuck games this year and he's great control of the puck.

Of course, he's scored probably 50 shootout goals with the exact same move.

Yeah, having it end up 4 on 4 after a PP kills it

It would be a neat rule to have every penalty in OT be a penalty shot.

Why can't the Flames win in Anaheim?!

It's a combination of the Flames not being able to ever play their best road game in that building and the Ducks having all kinds of confidence against the Flames in their home silks.

Anderson faced less shots and lost but got the star over Miller

I'd say the Ducks handily outplayed Vancouver. The difference was goaltending and 2 posts. There'll be a reckoning

I don't mind Vancouver getting the win. Anaheim is the team to be more concerned about in our division. Any time the good teams lose, the better. Makes things easier for the Flames.

I haveno idea what to expect out of Ducks, Kings, Sharks and Nucks this year. The Division (and conference) is a crapshoot this year.

What else is new? Miller was lights out to start last season as well. He will fall back in time...not much of that, I would hazard.

Right now Miller looks much more comfortable playing Rollie's style, will be interesting to see if it keeps up
