I can't believe I found another Pacer owner on page one. Then I see you also had a VW diesel like I did too. Car dealers must have our pictures on their walls.

1999 Dodge Dakota - British Racing Green - 5.9 L Magnum V8 with 5 speed manual transmission (had to special order this)
2003 Jeep Liberty - Silver - The magnum V8 Dakota was scary as hell to drive in the winter, and after a particularly scary event where I slid on ice and crossed the median on the QE2, I traded it in for something safer.
2007 Jeep Liberty - Red
2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Red - Worst vehicle I have ever owned. So bad I'll never own a Chrysler product again. True lemon. Owned it for two years and had it in the shop more than all my other vehicles combined.
2013 BMW X5 - Black - current vehicle
2013 Mercedes Sprinter - Red - other current vehicle. Love the sprinter! It's for work, but it comes in handy for so many jobs. I'll never own a pick up again, Sprinters are a million times more useful.
My wife has had two VW Beetles that we bought together also. A 2001 and a 2008 convertible that is her current vehicle, when she isn't driving my X5.

Reason: decided to delete my first vehicle, since it is often a security question...

1984 VW GT - decent car but ball joints and suspension had to be replaced
198 Subaru RX - great little car. Got into bad accident last exam of University. Totaled.
2004 Subaru 2.5RS - meh. Sold to my sister.
2007 Subaru Spec B. - this was a fun car. Really sad we sold. But needed more space.
2009 Subaru 2.5 5 door (wife's car) - got a smoking deal on it. Otherwise meh.
2010 Subaru Forester turbo - awesome. Crazy room. Decent engine and turbo. Now wife's car
2014 Porsche Macan - wow. Best car. Best everything. Of course it's more $$ but the value added is worth every nickel for me.

Mine was grey with a blue vinyl interior. 4.3 liter inline 6 jeep motor with a collapsed lifter that ticked that crazy. Brake booster was ####ed so occasionally the pedal would go straight to the floor and you'd have to boot it to get some pedal back. Was my winter beater and ended up as farmer wealth parked in a field east of the city. It was fun to drive, RWD, small and torquey with posi.

1979 Mercury Capri, basically a stereo that occasionally could drive me somewhere when I was 16.
1990 Chevy Cavalier, this was a surprisingly good car that served me well thru college.
1997 VW GTI this was a decent car, problem was I rolled it off the road and was lucky to catch a tree on a hill 5 months after I bough it. Should have kept it longer.
2001 Nissan XTERRA, this was a mistake. Woefully underpowered gas guzzler, essentially where my life begins it's downward spiral.
1979 Dodge D150 bought it off a guy from work for $400...he tried to get me to give him $8 more for the newspaper add he bought! This was a yard truck for me that I used for hauling landscaping stuff. Never put anything but gas in it and it lasted for like two years until I junked it for $200.
2002 Mustang GT Convertible. Still have this in my gate, with 56000km on it. I hate to get rid of it because it's worth like 2500 bucks. But I don't really have room to keep it.
2006 Toyota Rav4, this was a good vehicle with the V6. Lots of power and got decent mileage sold it a couple years ago.
2010 Chrysler Town and Country. It's a van they're as bad as they're advertised to be. But you still fit 2 kids and two big dogs in it and get reasonable mileage for cheap. With one dog gone, and the other getting up there in age we will likely look for something different.
2006 Chevrolet Silverado a pity gift from my in laws. It's set up to tow a trailer...something I'll never own. Solid vehicle that you can do a lot of things with. But I really need to get something more efficient to drive to and from work.
Would love to buy something newer, but the old vehicles I have still work. Someone smart would go buy a 2004 Corolla to drive back and forth to work...I almost bought a 2004 E420 at an auction two weeks ago....Me and vehicles tends to end up as a bad decision.

I'm a pretty big car guy, but I actually only got my first car when I was 29, so my ownership history is pretty short.
1999 Saab 9-3
2007 Porsche Cayman
2000 Mazda Protege 5
2008 Volvo V50
1990 Porsche 911 C2
We've had some neat family cars though over the years though:
60's Skoda Octavia Kombi (we had 2 of these at the same time)
80's Zsiguli 2101
 rl]
This was probably one of my favorites, as it had the infamous citroen hydropneumatic suspension. It would lower the car as you drive, and raise it when it was stopped. It was pretty awesome.

2000 VW Golf 5spd 2.Slow
2001 Hyundai Sonata (worst, smelliest, most awful car ever - the gauge cluster didn't light up, and the passenger window wouldn't roll up all the way)
2014 Toyota Corolla
2014 VW Jetta TDI. Averaged 5l/100Km on a round trip to Vancouver in August. It's the best car I've ever owned. It's also one of the scandal affected TDIs. Bleh.
