Love the idea, but until I live in a town where I can get a more official address than "the green house near the crocodile farm," I probably shouldn't try to receive any mail.

I'm tentatively interested. On one hand it might be fun to have some random memorabilia, on the other I try to avoid collecting "stuff". Definitely maybe.

Just a quick update: I spoke with a fellow with the Flames and he advised that they could, subject to some restrictions, provide some promotional stuff to send to fans abroad. For example, tourists who attend Saddledome tours were offered free lineup cards/posters from the playoffs, stickers, signs, and yearbooks from the 13/14 season. The Fanattic is also selling yearbooks from 2014/15 for $10 each (don't know if we could get any sort of quantity discount).

He warned me however that one factor to take into account is the cost of postage. Based on this link, oversized lettermail (up to 500 grams) will cost:

Within Canada: $5.05
To the US: $10.30 CDN
International: $20.60 CDN

Therefore, anything being sent over would need to be light and relatively flat (max 20 mm), as the cost of thicker or heavier packages would likely be much higher. Alternatively, it might be cheaper to send one bigger package instead of multiple small packages (i.e. if someone abroad is willing to look after distributing/mailing them out locally).

So I'll continue to investigate the feasibility of doing something like this along with the associated costs (I didn't realize how expensive Canada Post has become unfortunately). In the meantime, if people have specific requests of stuff they'd like to order (i.e. hats, clothing, pucks, memorabilia, etc.) feel free to post. I note that Fan Attic also offers US/international shipping as well, so perhaps a group buy (i.e. to get free shipping from Canada) might also be an option.

That would be amazing; given the apparent number of CPers based in the UK, it would probably be a lot cheaper than sending a bunch of packages (or even one big package) from Canada.
