Love the pick. Highly touted. Who knows, maybe had a nagging injury that held him back a bit this year. Like the gamble here.

I think I read something about his draft position dropping based on his mental game which is something that can definitely be fixed.

FC had him at 6 in their prelim rankings last summer. And Andersson at 9

Holy.... Before the season began, I wanted Kylington with our 1st. To get him at 60 is really awesome.

I really do like the pick here. Worth all the risk at 60.

His slide is due to
1) Injury
2) Struggling in a higher men's league (SHL, 3rd best league in the world)
3) Trying to do too much himself and not making the simple play = turnovers.
Now with (3) you might think "Oh noes Justin Schultz" but that's part of development.

Don't know much about these two chaps they drafted, but like the cut of their supposed gib.
Now:
Get the goalie situation sorted out.
Get a top 6 forward (or two) somewhere down the road this offseason
Profit

Played on Hakan Loob's team last year. He should have giving the Flames a heads-up about him.

NHL Network talking heads said that after bursting on the scene at 16, his development just didn't proceed as much as others as they turned 18.

So, NHL Network must be horrible...cause Fan960 completely missed the trade with Phoenix and the Kylington pick.

Kylington compares himself to Erik Karlsson and Duncan Keith..."They're the best."

I love this pick @ 60 after you make a reliable earlier 2nd round pick. Absolutely worth the risk.

Also, picking Schultz 60th overall would be a pretty big win.
