THANK YOU! I showed Bobcat to my girlfriend and she didn't see it. It's all I think of when the dentist talks.

I am liking Johnny Mac (the dentist) so far. He's hilarious and I like his strategy too. Nobody is going to vote this guy out.

He's growing on me too. I was floored by how he talked at first, now I look forward to his diary room sessions.
Dood's not dumb, despite they way he sounds at times.

This is the first BB I've watched since the first season. My family convinced me to start watching it and I'm hooked, I thought the dentist guy was annoying in the first couple episodes but now I'm rooting for him. He's hilarious and his antics crack me up

That's so funny, I said the same thing to my fiance yesterday. Showed her this clip and she immediately agreed:

Have to admit Johnny Mac is a unique character for this show. At first I thought he may be one of the first people sent packing because of how spastic he comes across but he's kind of funny. This week will be interesting as the first two evicted house guests pretty well evicted themselves with their actions and poor game play but this week it's going to get a little more dirty.

I like the poker player, she's very calculated, I find her interesting. I like Jonny Mac. He gets it, "if the head of household tells you you're going up on the block, you're going up" He knows there's no sense in arguing because it's going to happen, just make sure people know they owe you one.

I always thought Vanessa Rousso was Canadian from watching her on TV playing poker.

Really like this cast, so far this is my favorite season since 14. Not many duds (basically just Jackie and Becky). Nice mix of big personalities, folk who give good DR, and gamers. Really liking Johnny Mac, Vanessa, and now that folk know... the Twins. I wish Audrey gave better DR, for such an agent of chaos she's really boring in the DR... but I'll take that debit because she stirs the pot so well.
I wish BotB wasn't back, that is such a dud of a game twist... it makes too many people safe post-veto and forces the over-use of pawns and backdooring.

I've been saying for years the show should just announce who gets evicted and not the vote count so players wouldn't be pressured to vote with the house every week. It would make it so much easier for big moves if players didn't have to worry about being outed on a failed attempt. Also it would get rid of the near-unanimous evictions which make Thursday episodes so anti-climatic outside of the HOH competition. The Thursday routine is so old as they spend the first 20 minutes showing earlier footage where they edit it in a way to make it look like the target may be changed when the vote goes up it's almost unanimously as we expected.

It's an important pressure near the end. Maybe fit the first 5 evictions?

I dunno, I don't think it would change much. Not in terms of the outcomes anyways... the vote count would change since the evicted houseguest wouldn't have to give their friends the blessing to vote them out but I think the end result would stay the same.
I kind of think the only reason they have BotB is because they want a better mid-week competition (because the Have/HaveNot comps stink since the stakes are so low). I think they ought to put an immunity comp up in it's place (Power: Can't be nominated/renomed) until F5 then just proceed as normal... I think that can throw enough monkeywrenches into plans to create interesting scenarios. BotB sucks all the drama out of the nomination ceremony

I don't think it would have made a difference the past few weeks but that's because the last two evicted buried themselves. However it simply makes it hard for big moves to be made because of the associated risk of failure. A group could easily give it a shot without fear of their plan being uncovered when the votes are tallied.

Looks like you may have been right my friend. HoH last night clearly said she was didn't want to be the one to send Audrey home because she was transgender.
I honestly don't know why that would even be considered. Her being transgender should have no weight on deciding whom to evict and I would bet Audrey would be amongst the first to agree with that.
Shouldn't be a factor at all.

So was the HoH being truthful about what she said about Aubrey or just saying that to appease the mind of a guy she ending up putting on the block later in the episode?
To me it seemed like she was just using Aubrey bring a transgender as an excuse why she couldn't to get rid of buddy and to hide her true intent.

She seemed sincere but I'll be the first to admit that I'm terrible at reading people. You could very well be quite right.
Jason on the other hand seems to be the exact opposite. He picked out Austin lying immediately. HoH seems to be good at that too, she knew Austin was BS'ing her about the Veto competition. No surprise there though being a professional Poker player.

Jason's problem is he opens his mouth immediately instead of keeping that information for himself.

It appears everyone wants her gone, but the only one who I think has the balls to do it is the gay guy. Can't remember his name. He is always ripping her in the DR.
Doubt anyone else actually evicts her.
As for it not being a factor, I agree it shouldn't be. But all it takes is one article in the media to paint you as a bad person for doing so.

It appeared to me that she was simply making her excuse for not putting her on the block. I personally believe there are few if any in the house that wouldn't hesitate to put her on the block if it was to their benefit.
