I am always amazed at the ridiculousness of some deals. You can spend $16.50 getting the X:COM Enemy Within DLC or you can buy the complete pack for $11. Really?

No spectacular deals so far, site is going super slow, they need new servers to handle days like this

Getting a "heavy load" error right now lol. I did see GTA V but it's still $69.99 or something, down from $80 something because they force to buy it bundled with San Andreas or DLC cash card things.

So there's a huge issue with companies jacking the price up and then putting it on sale on Steam right now.
GTA V went up $20, apparently Firaxis and a company I've never heard of have also done this with some of their games.
Steam is just one colossal #### up after another right now.

Supply and demand. I haven't bought a game for more than $20 in years, just be smart about your purchases and let the rest of the people pay way too much. In May I spent 60$ on games and got AAA quality games, 10 games that were all once valued at $60. Just be smart and Steam can be awesome.

I thought so too, but what's being advertised is the game + in game cash bonus. Totally not worth it, but the regular game is still the same price as it was before.

The links and images I was seeing showed the base game being more expensive as well.
Apparently they're now saying that Firaxis isn't actually guilty of anything illegal. Just confusing as all hell. Rockstar is still getting pilloried.

Ya, the image is correct. It appears the game price went up, but when you click it and see the two options, the game package which is the price it's being referred to, and the regular.
Shady though, and someone might come along and think, OMG GTA IS ON SALE, MUST BUY

I'm suddenly feeling less lecherous purchasing from G2A. Great job Steam.

It's not Steam. It's the publishers. Gaben will probably show up on Reddit shortly to say what they're going to do to stop this in the future.
He will then get banned for ruining the shady game developers safe space.

Cities Skylines for $25. Probably going to wait for the Flash Sale though.
Edit: Homeworld Remastered for $15, yay!

I wouldn't buy anything until it's one of the featured deals. It'll probably be 50% off instead of 25%.

picked up Fez and Valkyria Chronicles for $8. Pretty good start. The value from these sales is outstanding, no reason to pay full price unless you really really want a game nowadays.

Witcher 2 is worth buying, Witcher 1 not so much, its fighting system is crap and it isnt good enough to warrent 60+ hours of play.
Pillars and the Long Dark are the 2 games ill probably pickup when there on Flash sale.
