That's a terrible litmus test. "If everyone drove this car, how would it look?" "If everyone wore this shirt, how would it look?" Different is good.

I was out playing disc golf today, and saw this tree:

It has died, all the upper branches were trimmed, then the large limbs and trunk were stripped to park. It actually doesn't look terrible, if you are still interested you could go take a look at it. I didn't have a camera with me or I would have grabbed a picture for ya.
