After all the games that the young Flames won for us it's almost understandable that their youthful inexperience cost us a game that we deserved to win.

Gaudreau and Colborne with costly, costly mistakes. But these aren't 6 year veterans making unacceptable mistakes (despite my drunken posts in the GT), these were young players in year two of a rebuild thrown into a second round of the playoffs vs the best NHL hockey team.

We're going to be great. Can't wait for the future!!!

Goat to Gaudreau and that turnover. But, he did have that insane set up on the Monny goal. You have to take the good with the bad. Still doesn't hurt to wear those horns once in a while.

Thought the Flames came out the right way. Youth served up too many mistakes to a Ducks team that will make you pay for those mistakes. Others posted it, it's true.

That first goal Ramo let in was terribad. But I digress, he's been great in his starts.
Wouldn't surprise me at all to see Ramo start game #5. But who knows.

Bennett was alright tonight, I think he was just matched up against the wrong guys, but he was not a liability and created some good chances. One thing I've noticed though is he needs a little more puck patience. Kind of like Backlund before he changed his game a bit and started to hold onto the puck longer.

D needs a tune up in the offseason.

No better time to win in Anaheim than now.

it's sad, that this was the one game that was actually the Flames' to lose, and they blew it big time, from Johnny's giveaway, Colborne's hit and Monahan's giveaway.

We had a chance to even this up and we blew it more than we came back to take it

No biggie. We break the curse Sunday, that gives them a massive boost. Come home to a maniac crowd to tie it 3-3, and it's a coin flip for game seven.

They've been on the ropes in games and pulled it out, now, they're on the ropes in a series, and they will not go down without a fight.

This series goes to 7, and I'll predict the winner before game 7, but you all know what that prediction will be.

A lack of discipline and poor reffing cost us the game.

It really hurts when we had control of the game and let it get awat from us.

You need to shake it off. You've been a debbie downer for the last 40 minutes. Boo.

Tough road ahead to have to win 3 of 4 with two in Anaheim where they looked like boys vs. men for a full game and a half.

Really unfortunate loss tonight. If Gaudreau doesn't make that giveaway, Flames might have escaped the second up 2-1 with a good chance to even the series.

He's the goat I think with Colborne's completely unnecessary and stupid penalty AFTER the horn giving the Ducks 4 minutes of PP to start the third on fresh ice a very close second.

They're kids and they'll learn though... But can't deny their mistakes cost the Flames the game.

Loved seeing Bennett on in the final minute. He had a great shift against Getzlaf to earn that final shift.

This is all I've ever asked for from the Flames all year: keep playing all 60 minutes.

Some bad giveaways and an emotional mistake from Colborne. Don't care though...I'd have laughed at you if you told me the Flames would make the playoffs at virtually any point in the year. I would have likely had you committed if you told me they'd be on of the last 7 teams competing for the Stanley Cup and that they'd be giving strong Cup contenders a run for their money.

Terrific game and I love the standing ovation from the crowd. It'd be amazing if they could break the Anaheim losing streak and force a game 6 but I don't care honestly.

Gift wrapped win for the Ducks. Two rookie mistakes turned into two goals. Other than that, the Flames played a solid game and could have easily won this game. Proud of the effort.

yup, pretty easy to pick out the goat in this game. Joe with the incredibly stupid penalty, refs with a close second for allowing a ton of interference by Perry all night.

I hope someone takes his and Kesler's heads off on Sunday.

Mistakes paid costly. This series was winable. As someone already mentioned Brodie and Russel should enter the mid zone fast on the powerplay.

I actually thought it was the Flames' best game of the series. Came down to a few plays that the Ducks made.
This series is such an education for this team. The Canucks series was too, but not to this extent because the Nucks just don't play that heavy brand of playoff hockey.
I like the fact that I think for the most part the guys are playing better as this goes on - they are learning on the fly. This series, win or lose, will pay dividends down the road.
But I think we see Game 6 back here. Going to be tough to win 3 straight, but I don't think this ends in 5.

I have no problem playing hard and losing to a better team.

I have a major problem when the game isn't played or called fairly.
