Lets go Hartley! A 20 point improvement to third in the division when some people were predicting regression is historically impressive. He has to be the favourite for this award.
I wouldn't discount Laviolette though. A 16 point improvement to third in the conference is also an excellent turn around.

Nobody deserves it more than Hartley from 4th last to being in the second round of the playoffs with 1/3rd of the team being rookies and nobody has done more with less. Hartley should win this if the voters break it down properly.

Cam Talbot's stats were just as good, if not better than Lundqvist's this year. Not sure if you can use that as a negative against Vigneault, as he may have had the team tighten up defensively with Lundqvist out. However, it's not like Hartley could just put in a "backup Gio" to replace the original.
Boyle's situation may be comparable, but Boyle wasn't the frontrunner for the Norris...

He's also had teams that are stacked with talent. Vigneault's a fairly good coach, but he's always had the luxury of having good teams. I'll give him credit for sticking with Rick Nash when he totally sucked in the 2014 Playoffs.
As I said it before, Hartley basically turned the Flames around into a competitive team after that bench brawl with the Canucks last season. He was deserving of at least a nomination of the award for the Flames record in the second half of that season. For this season, there's no doubt he deserves to win the Jack Adams award. The way he handles his players and the media, it's number 1 class.

I believe I read somewhere he gets $250,000.
I might be mistaken, and that amount is only for the major player awards.

Seems like Hartley has the best chance, but I wouldn't be upset if any of those guys win. All good candidates

My vote would be for Hartley. What he has been able to get out that lineup is nothing short of a miracle.
