I've been playing a lot of NHL 15 online lately. This is a "thing", but the morning before game 6 I played a guy, he was Vancouver and I Calgary. I whooped him 10-1. We won the game 7-4, total goals 11.
Last night I played a guy he was Anahiem and I the Flames. I won 4-3.
Go solve this riddle.
----
To add: Buddies and I got a spot at National on 17th for the game. We're down 3-0, I decide something needs to change. I pay by bill, in preparation to run home and watch the remainder, we score right away. I call my wife letting gher know I'll be home, she arranges the jerseys as I like on the sofa and boom, the epic comeback starts.

For the playoffs, every game my 5 month old wears a Flames onesie, and sits on my lap for the game, we have won. We lost every game this didnt happen (at a friends, or her not wearing the onesie).

As much as I need a new TV and my wife has offered to get me one to watch the games, I have a feeling that as soon as I get it, I'll screw up everything for all of us. That is my gift to all of you

3-0 when wearing sweats, retro jersey and drinking rye.
0-2 when I was at home not wearing said Jersey or sweats
1-0 when I went to the game with same jersey. Did not wear the sweats though. Did drink rye before the game for superstitious reasons.

Early morning wakeup calls to watch the games live: Flames are 4-1
Slept in, and watched the archived game the next morning—which was my practice all season: Flames are 0-1

I put out my Flames flag in the front yard about an hour before game time and wear my home red 2004 jersey that was a gift from my wife. I am growing a playoff beard and even though it is horrible and my wife HATES it, I won't shave it until the season is over. I went to game 3 and that turned out great, but if I'm watching the game at home I apparently have to watch it alone. I had people over for game 2 and game 5, and both were losses. I actually cancelled plans to have people over for game 6 - made up an excuse that my kids were sick so they wouldn't want to come. My wife thinks I am losing my mind.

I have been eating pulled garlic bbq chicken bacon sandwiches on Herb bun and Wear my Retro flames toque ONLY in the 3rd.
Ate this in game 1 Victory! Had a different meal game 2 defeat. So I switched back to the game Plan 2 more wins! Thr defeat because I switched meals in game 5. I just couldnt eat anymore chicken. Then game 6 stuck with the plan for a W.
Maybe this round I'll subsitute for Duck.

Visiting CP at any time other than the intermissions during the game: 4-1.
Reading the GT while the game is going: 0-1.
I think it's clear what I should do.

I probably going to get lynched for this one. This all started about a month back when we were making that playoff push.. I think at 1 point they were out of the playoff in 9th place by a point or 2... so I said well boys looks like were done, good year, nice team to watch, etc. after that they won like 3-4 in a row or something like that. So now before every game my buddy asks me... now? now are they done? how bout now? so I say yes, today they are, and they win. So.... it works.

My wife made "Fish" type dinner on game days for round 1:
Fish and Chips
Sushi
Flame Broiled Octopus
BBQ Shrimp
Seafood Shish kabobs
Blue finger Jello with Blue Whale gummies
Looks like we need "Fowl" centered meals for round 2!!!
EDIT: And she posted pictures of each entrée on facebook to drive the glut of Canuck cheering friends we have. She's a keeper for sure

It's part of the fun of having your team in the playoffs. You'll understand one day.

Mentioned it the last game thread.... Against Van the Flames were 4-0 when I watched at home and 0-2 when I watched at a bar.
I am not superstitious but I have started to notice over the last couple years that I tend to miss the bad losses because I am not watching or at a bar and not watching that closely (which is saying something as I only miss a few games a year). Stayed home Saturday night but after they were down 3 in the first I got so worried I pushed the limits of superstition that I just about left to go to the bar. I was very pleased to have the patience to stay and wait it out.

Lucky drinks during the game. If the opposition scores it's an unlucky drink and you gotta slam it and quickly pour a new one.
Drinks mixed with energy drink mix seem to be slightly luckier
When I asked my buddies if this rule still applies for recorded games we laughed and decided why not, it has just as much actual effect as when live. :b
