I'm so excited, nervous and scared for tonight, but stepping back and thinking about it I'm just really thankful. After 6-7 years of pretty bad hockey this year was supposed to be the worst one yet. Now here we are with a home Saturday night game in late April with a chance to dispose of our most bitter rival. It just doesn't get much better than this. I'm planning to enjoy every minute of today and tonight. We deserve this Flames Fans!

So in what sense do you disagree? Because none of this goes against it being disrespectful to the organization. There's plenty of trash talk that's aimed at disrespecting the organization, players, fans... all of which is fair game. I don't see anybody being uptight about anything.
There's an awful lot more whining from people like Browna about SJW's ruining all their fun than there actually are people objecting to this stuff. You're railing against absolutely no one.
lol. I was disagreeing with your original comment of this being a disrespect to their fans and organization.
I'm going to my first ever game at the 'Dome tonight 😃

I think this will be a close game. However, given how the last four have gone, I have no idea what to expect. I guess if you base it on what has happened in each team's barn, the Flames should be the better team tonight.

I assume his objection wasn't to the prediction of a flames win so much as a blowout.

Dude it's totally a disrespectful action towards the fans and organization. You're BURNING THEIR JERSEY. Disrespecting them is the ENTIRE POINT. But that's allowed, because they are the enemy.

In general, if that was Vancouver's biggest push was last game with their backs against the wall, at home, and ended up gutting out a win (but if either of the Flames 1st or 2nd period posts go in, different story), then not sure what they have left to counter Calgary's energized push this game.
Sure, anything can happen...another fortunate bounce like they got on the first goal in game 4 off Russell, or even Sedin's game 5 goal, can happen virtually anytime...but in general, that kind of junk goal can happen for the Flames as well, no matter how well, or poorly, they are playing.
The first line has played 10x better at home than in Vancouver (Hudler and Monahan at least), Flames have the line matchups, more energy from the Dome.
I just think the Flames will certainly have more energy than the Canucks had in Game 5, and that, and the momentum that it creates at home, should itself mean enough to overcome and any Canucks resistance (which outside of a couple periods in Game 3, didn't look like much when on the road).

As someone who is going through severe withdrawal from those awesome CBC playoff montages, I have to say the Flames website puts together some pretty decent ones after each win.
The opening video is great too, but after each win they put together a "Sights and Sounds" montage. They serve their purpose.
Haha. Don't make me laugh. Backlund will eat his words. All the pressure is on Calgary.
3-2 Canucks in OT
The facts the nucks team is trying to say the pressure is on Calgary is absolutely laughable. The Flames have 2 more chances to win the series. In addition the Flames have proven they can win a playoff game in Vancouver while the Canucks lost badly in both games in Calgary. Canucks have all the pressure because if they lose it is over.
Sedin is going to eat his words when he claimed the Flames are looking tired. This young team is going to hit them with everything they got tonight. I will be there cheering as loud as I can to support our boys tonight and their series victory
