Mines coming along nicely. I've discovered the trick for me is to not shave to the jaw line.
Color me surprised now that I see a good bit of grey in it. #FeelingOld.

Not knowingly haven't shaved since the series started. Screw it might as well keep it going. I will be trimming it short though cause only half my face seems to be capable of growing a beard like a grown up.
It's one thing to have a patchy mess all around, it looks even weirder when half your face is fine and the other half looks like it's growing pubes.

Mine is starting to look like a straight mariner beard. Patch as hell on the cheeks and multi colored. I don't get it, my hair is black/silver since I've been going silver since age 14 but my beard is black, brown, red, silver, blond. Strange.

I had a significant beard going until Saturday when I willingly shaved before the game. I was bald faced (and pre-pubesecnt) in '89 and in in 04'. Every other year that I could grow for, I did. Screw playoff beards.

This is the first time I've ever grown one. It's patchy, itchy, and only grows above my lip and a little on the chin (picture Darryl Dixon if I want to flatter myself, but realistically more Joe Dirt without the sideburns). It looks and feels ridiculous, but with the Flames advancing past the 1st round I'll be damned if I'll shave it!

I had an interview for an internal job going up against a bunch of young kids. I didn't want to give them an advantage because of the age difference and had to shave the predominately grey scruff off. Was a dilemma but in the end had to do it. I did it before game 5 then they lost. Figured I jinxed the team. Now with the game 6 win I realize it wasnt a jinx. Not sure if i get the job but know that I am not shaving again till its over
