Couldn't be more indifferent over who wins, dislike both teams. Except I picked the Blues to advance so..boo.

The cameras in St Louis are way up in the nosebleed section. Weird seeing this angle on TV.

Bizarre call - giving Ott a misconduct rather than a high sticking penalty? STL should have had two men in the box.

Surprise surprise the St. Louis Shar...I mean Blues lose the first game. Couldn't understand all the pundits giving this series to St. Louis with their recent playoff history and how well the Wild played down the stretch. They'll be lucky to make it out of this series at all

I hope the Blues lose in 4.
St Louis isn't unlucky to draw the Wild, they could have avoided playing them if they had won against teams other than the Flames down the stretch.
But they tanked every game against the Canucks, Wild, Jets, and Kings.... so they deserve everything they get in this series.

If there is a team in the playoffs that is built for regular season success only it is the Blues.
Any team that draws the Blues in round 1 is the team that I would bet on. They are the new Sharks. They are lucky they are not playing the Blackhawks.

Bouwmeester goes -2 with 0 SOG. The higher the stakes the worse he plays.

Yep, the guy has a single gear, what you see in game 1 of the regular season is what you see in game 7 of the playoffs. No team is going to win if they rely on Boumeester to log big minutes

I am still finding it hard to believe Dubnyk's play with the Wild...he has gotta crash back into mediocrity eventually!
The Blues have been a rival for my guys since the '67 expansion...this version has the same flaws that past editions have had: Questionable goaltending, and a lack of discipline...they take too many PIMs

Bouwmeester definitely had a shot on goal. He hit a post, an inch to the left and he scores a goal on Dubnyk.

Posts aren't shots on goal.
Technically at least.

I think Dubnyk's play says more about Edmonton's defense than anything else. I always said he wasn't the problem there, but this isn't an Edmonton thread so I'll leave it at that.
St. Louis just can't seem to win when it matters. They're becoming the new San Jose Sharks, only worse. Don't know what it is about them, but they've always bugged me too. I hope Minny can finish them off quickly.

Tanked games? What are you talking about?
Anyways, the blues are a good team and will make a series out of this. They always seem to draw the toughest match ups

The Wild can beat them, and now that they've won in St. Louis I can't see them losing at home.
St. Louis are weird though, something isn't quite right there. They were very good earlier in the season. They're going to have to play out of their skins now otherwise this series could be over early.
