Go Preds, but I think Hawks win.
PS: We should make each playoff series thread sticky so we don't have to search for them throughout the playoffs.

sticky with a result prediction poll would be ideal!
i don't like the new divisional playoff layout. 1/8, 2/7, 3/6, 4/5 made a lot more sense. Is there a reason why teams that qualify for the playoffs aren't stack ranked based on points and use this old methodology for 1st round matchups?
Feel bad for the preds, they had a great season, only to be stuck playing the hawks in round 1. Yet, the flames/canucks that are both worse teams points wise have a more favourable matchup.

I think Hawks in 6. Nashville will scare Chicago, but won't be able to beat them more than twice.
I WANT the Preds to win, but I see Chicago being too good.

I could see the Preds winning Game 1. But series doesn't go more than 6 games.

Such an overrated player.
Can't believe there were rumors of $7 million + per year for him.
Matt Stajan equivalent in my opinion.

Vermette being scratched is bad.
The Predators answer back by scratching Santorelli and Franson.
Both teams out to prove which one wasted their 1st round pick.

Is this the year that finally proves the uselessness of trade deadline day?

What on earth was Roszival doing there? He skated backwards, but instead of going in a straight line, he moved away from Wilson and allowed him the angle to cut in and shoot over Crawford. Man that was awful play.

Seems like a lot of the media have been picking Chicago to cruise through the series, primarily because of Chicago's recent history and Nashville cooling off down the stretch (plus Kane coming back)... but I just don't see it.
I still think Nashville comes out on top, maybe fairly quickly too.

Stahlberg makes it 2-0.
Gooooood.
I'm also biased because my dream playoff scenario is the Flames advancing to the Cup Finals by going through Vancouver, Winnipeg, and Nashville. Best case scenario given how we played all 3 teams this season.
Then beating Montreal in the finals of course.

Wow, this crowd is absolutely off the hook. Insane.
2-0 Nashville after a huge blunder by Crawford behind the net.
